Three Lesbians in a Winter Special

Written and developed over the course of a few days during the 2021 festive season, Three Lesbians in a Winter Special is a short conclusion to the story of Three Lesbians in a Barrow. You can play it in your browser on Itch.io

By modifying the Bitsy engine, me and Mia were able to add detailed animated backgrounds and character portraits to the game, creating a truly beautiful game in an engine that usually only supports two colour, 8x8 sprites!

Trixie spends an evening with her partners, and more of the map opens up or changes for her to explore as she progresses through the story.

By establishing Bitsys limitations with scale and collision we were able to take my quick blockout level and art (left image) and transform it into something wonderful in a short space of time.
